Is America Going to War?
|
|
We all witnessed the terrorist attack that happened in New York City and the thousands of people that apparently fell victim. It was such a horrible tragedy and we all are asking ourselves how can we move on? What can we do to feel better, and how can things get back to normal? Not only have our lives and sense of security been shaken, but these events have drastically affected
the financial markets and changed the world we live in.
America and our leaders are preparing the nation for war and a long campaign against those who committed this attack. But what does this mean? What type of response can, or should we engage in? After all, is the ordinary Afganistan citizen to be held accountable for the actions of a few men? Many of the people in the region, don't get CNN and may not be aware of Bin Laden's activities. Should they be held accountable for his actions?
I am personally glad that I am not responsible for answering this question.

What is the Code Red Virus...
|
|
The code red virus actaully infected my computer. I had no idea that the virus was there until I was using my browser and it said I was "Hacked by Chinese"....i couldn't believe it, becauase I have a firewall and everything. I guess not
a very good one. After all of the hype, nothing at all happened to my computer. I simply downloaded a few patches and the virus was
gone without any drama.
But just a few months ago, my computer was hacked for real. A hacker broke into my computer and was running a process on my computer. Once I found out that a process was being ran on my computer, I immediately terminated the process and searched for and
signs of the intruder. I checked for backdoors, passwords, but I couldn't find any. One day later, the hacker found out that I knew about him, and just within one day, he destroyed my computer to the point that I could no longer boot up the operating
system.
So what has a hacker done to you, or someone you know? What are we going to do with hackers, and what types of punishments should be handed out?

What is the Cloning?
|
|
I am not an expert in the art of cloning, reproducing gene sequences, or anything of the sort. But there are a few things that I realize about this issue. There are both positive and negative aspects to cloning. There are medical studies and research that
rely on "cloning techniques" to test drugs and administer treatments. But aside from the medical advantages I can't see anything positive about cloning.
How many of you know how to clone a person? I definitely don't know, but I do know that it is more complicated than just mixing up a potion in a lab, putting it in the oven, and ultimatly creating a person. If I were to clone myself, I would need to have a woman willing to carry this cloned individual until birth. That is right, if I were to clone myself, I would end up with a baby that looked like me, not a mature adult version of me .What is the point of this? This baby would be a baby of me, what would anybody want to do with a baby version of me?
